I have picked my images from my original photographs of models that intrigue and inspire me as they emoted in front of my camera (some are from other sources). I will design the artwork in Photoshop and then challenge myself to paint it. Usually, when I start a work it can take me a few days to a week before I start painting while I develop the concept and adjust the colors and composition until I feel satisfied. While constructing the image in Photoshop I digitally enhance the color, add special effects, and Graphic design elements of lettering and shapes to create a mood and theme. I cut out my own stencils and paper collage elements and begin to translate and adapt and combine with paint on the canvas. Which is when the magic happens!
